One-line description

Puntokus is a calm logic puzzle for iPhone, iPhone Duo and iPad, with two simple rules and no ads.

Short description

Puntokus is a calm logic puzzle with two simple rules: each number says how many dots go in its row or column, and every dot touches exactly one other. Every puzzle is certified to have a single solution you can reach by reasoning alone. Toku's school teaches one deduction technique at a time, and hints explain why before they show the answer. With more than 1,400 puzzles, a Daily shared with the web and 15+ themes with pixel-art companions, it is free to play on iPhone, iPhone Duo and iPad, with no ads, no energy and no account. Made by an indie developer from Seville, Spain.

About the game

Puntokus has two simple rules: each number says how many dots go in its row or column, and every dot touches exactly one other. Every puzzle is certified to have a single solution that you can reach by reasoning alone.

It teaches instead of testing. Toku's school introduces one deduction technique at a time, and when you are stuck, a hint shows where to look and then explains why, before it ever shows the answer. There are no timers and no penalties for a missed day: the Daily puzzle has a monthly stamp that forgives the days you skip.

Each theme changes the whole board, its sounds and the companion who keeps you company, from the warm paper of Classic to Constellations, Ink, Arcade, Sakura, Neon and Alchemy. Seasonal themes follow the calendar, such as Snowy Christmas and Summer Christmas, one for each hemisphere.
